Beauty of the UOK & My dream trip

Beauty of the University of Kelaniya

I was very lucky to be a student of mother UOK..😍

As the first green university in Sri Lanka we have a beautiful environment with various kind of trees, flowers and plants.💚🌳🌸🌿 I never expect such a pleasant environment in this congested city, before I came here. Although seasonal changes are imperceptible in the climate of the university, most trees begin to bear flowers in early March giving a campus a touch of spring. “IT gaha, Thalwata” procure a beautiful environment to the faculty of science.

Not only the environment but also the university provide many facilities for extracurricular activities. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available for students and the staff of the university. These sporting facilities include cricket, football, hockey, netball, tennis, basketball, volleyball court and athletic facilities.  The university has large gymnasium with indoor facilities available for badminton, carrom, chess, table tennis, wrestling, karate and other indoor sports and games.⚽🏈

For the sack of the students and university students, in catering to primary healthcare needs, the University Medical Centre operates services, 24-hour ambulance service and a preventive healthcare service.

Uni KLN has a large library with many facilities like reference section, study area. University of Kelaniya one of the largest universities in Sri Lanka. It has a diverse student body with students representing all geography regions and ethnic communities of the country, as well as several international students. There are eight faculties in the university, Medical, science, commerce and management, humanities, social science, computing and technology, arts and languages. Therefore, very good combination of students in the university. There are clubs and association like AIESEC, LEO, LED, Gavel, Rotaract to improve the skills and minimize the gap between undergraduate and cooperate world.💪

With all these things, UOK has become my second mother. I have learnt many things and I made lots of friends thereby I could identify the different people in the world from here. Mother UOK has being taught lots of things to my life. So, I’m proud to say that I’m an undergraduate of University of Kelaniya.💗

My dream trip

As a result of my dedication and hard working,😎 I’ll be the most performed person in my company and because of that if my boss gives me an opportunity to go on a trip as I own with my husband and two children and the most important part is with an unlimited budget, I’m sure I’ll be the England at that time period.✈

Because I had that dream from my childhood. Although I never being there, by watching cartoons and movies I thought that if I was born there how much lucky I’m like that. The people who act that kids’ movies act like as they are having luxurious life by living in one of the loveliest countries on Earth.🏰🚘

 There are so many beautiful places to visit there. Most probably I’ll firstly go to London. London is widely acknowledged as a world-beating destination, but often overlooked beyond the capital is an incredible array of beautiful coastlines, rolling hills, quaint villages and innovative design.

Some of the other places to visit there are Dartmouth, Devon, Hampstead Health, Salcombe, The South downs national park and the Lake district. If I have this opportunity, I cannot believe that I’m such a lucky person. 

It will be the most valuable and unbelievable gift in my life. And other important part is I can enjoy whole 30 days with my family. If this trip only to me, it would not be that much happy. I’ll travel with most expensive tickets, stay luxurious hotels🏨 and eat lots🍨🍕🍮 with them. Meantime I’ll shopping😊 and buy things as my own from that money... Actually, I cannot imagine that opportunity, I’ll be a crazy😝 girl when I got that news.
