The Art of Living It was a different from other PPD sessions. Usually we are doing some activities and learn things to our lives in this session series. We enjoy that time period because it is different from other lectures, because we people are not like to sitting at the same place around three- four and listening to a lecture.  At that day, first we thought that it also another lecture. Dr. Ajith Collonne conduct the lecture on “Art Of Living”. Actually, we were wrong, it was not like other lectures. It is the most interesting lecture that I heard in this year. He was such an awesome person with capable of conducting lectures in an interesting way. Beauty of the UOK & My dream trip

Beauty of the University of Kelaniya I was very lucky to be a student of mother UOK..๐Ÿ˜ As the first green university in Sri Lanka we have a beautiful environment with various kind of trees, flowers and plants.๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒฟ I never expect such a pleasant environment in this congested city, before I came here. Although seasonal changes are imperceptible in the climate of the university, most trees begin to bear flowers in early March giving a campus a touch of spring. “IT gaha, Thalwata” procure a beautiful environment to the faculty of science. Not only the environment but also the university provide many facilities for extracurricular activities. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available for students and the staff of the university. Expert Game & Pen and Thread game

Expert game As every Tuesday morning, we were looking for an interesting PPD activity in the class room. As same as most of other days, madam came and we were formed into 5 groups and asked us to identify 3 people who are specialist๐Ÿ‘Š in any field. Each group had identified 3 specialist people. Then each specialist had to talk about his/her specialist field like, interesting memories with this field, good things and also drawbacks in that field to their group members within 5 minutes. After this, all the members in each group got some sort of idea about those field.  Our group had specialist people in fields of cooking, cricket and riding motor bikes.๐Ÿ’ช Then we were asked to make a one product by combining all 3 specialist fields. Our idea was to make some foods to cricket matches delivering through our motor bike delivery service. Barter Puzzle

Barter puzzle Team building activities and games are supposed to be not only educational, but also enjoyable. They help you to learn about each other, how each person thinks, works, solve problems and has fun. It was not just another PPD activity, it was a meaningful lesson to our lives. What we did was, we were formed into four groups. Then all the members of each team discussed and appointed a leader for each group. According to instructions, team leader should go to the front with a supportive person and they had to select a paper with an image and cut it into 75 pieces. Among them there should be 12 squares. Then put all the pieces into a bag. After the other groups done, some pieces were exchanged among four bags. Then each team got a bag with exchanged pieces and no one got the same bag which they put their pieces. The goal was complete the puzzle faster.
